FAQs

ARE ALL ITEMS HANDMADE?

Yes, all items are handmade (excluding dainty chains)  by me in the order they are received. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE MY ITEMS TO SHIP?

Please allow 4 to 8 weeks for processing times due to high demand and all items being handmade and filled in the order they are received. I know that that may seem like a very long time but please keep in mind that all handmade items are made to order, in house, from start to finish all the way down to the jump rings using the most high quality material and craftsmanship of over 8,000 hours of experience. This time frame may also vary depending on the complexity of your design and if any additional parts need to be ordered and so understand the production time is an estimate and may change due to unforeseen circumstances. But if at any time you would like an update on your order shoot us an email and we will let you know.

Once again I do understand that this may seem like a long time but I am working very hard to guarantee that every piece of jewelry handmade by me meets my very high standards when it comes to quality and craftsmanship and through customer reviews I know that it is well worth the wait because my handcrafted pieces are constructed to last you a LIFETIME with proper care because I have spent endless hours perfecting my craft and I have customers who have enjoyed their jewelry for the last two years 

After your order is finished you will receive an email that will be sent to you confirming that your order has been fulfilled. You will also receive a tracking number so that you can monitor you order as it makes it way to you. Please allow up to 5 business days for your order to start moving through the mail system AFTER your receive you fulfillment email. If your order is in pre shipment for longer than that please reach out and let us know  

   Once again I appreciate your patience as I work diligently to handcraft everyone’s orders but still making sure that I take care of my mental health and have time for my family. Business days do NOT include weekends and holidays and the processing times start 24 hours after receiving your order. ALSO SHIPPING AND PROCESSING ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. Processing is how long it takes for your order to be made and shipping is how long it takes to get to you once it leaves the post office.

 

We do our best to communicate with you throughout your buying experience so you are in the loop :) BUT if you need your order by a certain date I do offer rush processing which is detailed below.

DO YOU OFFER RUSH PROCESSING?

I do offer rush processing as an add on to your order. Click here to see if I have any in stock. I do not allow customers to jump in line. I actually work extra hours and I only offer 3 rush processings at a time. If you order rush processing you need to send an email to my Customer Care Team at customercare@dasannispeaks.com. For your heading put "RUSH PROCESSING" and in the body of the email put your name, order number (if you have already ordered) and the date you need your jewelry by and you will get a reply back within 48 hours. Your order will be processed within 72 hours of receiving your email. This is a very important part because sometimes orders get looked over since we are human. I appreciate you understanding.

HOW DO I GET AN UPDATE ON MY ORDER?

I do my best to communicate so you can reach out to me anytime to check on the status of your order at customercare@dasannispeaks.com but please allow up to 3 business days for a response back. You will receive an email when your order is up to be made at the email address provided at checkout and then your jewelry ships shortly after.. You will also receive an email with your tracking number.

BUT IT SAYS ON THE WEBSITE THAT I PAID FOR 3 TO 5 DAY SHIPPING OR EXPRESS SHIPPING:

Shipping time is how long it takes for your package to get to you once it leaves the post office not for how long it take to make it 

 WHAT PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept PayPal, PayPal Credit and all major credit cards. If you don't have any of these payment methods let me know and I will do my best to accommodate the method you are able to use. I can also send you an invoice if that makes things easier for you.

WHAT IF MY ORDER SHOWS UP DAMAGED?

All packages that are Priority shipped are shipped with insurance so just let me know and I will email you the information to file a claim with the shipping company. Please send customer care a picture of your damaged item as well.

If you feel like your jewelry is not cosmetically right or have trouble wearing it please email out Customer Care team at customercare@dasannispeaks.com with your Name and Order Number as well as a picture attached with the damaged piece and I will replace your order within 7 business days.

WHAT IF I AM MISSING ITEMS or SENT THE INCORRECT ONES?

If you are missing an item from your order please reach out to customer service within 48 hours of delivery. Please allow 72 hours not including weekend or holidays for someone to get back to you. After it has been confirmed you are missing items or was sent the incorrect one i will get your items shipped to you at my earliest convenience and I will be responsible for shipping charges. You can also have the option of store credit. Refunds will not be issued. Please understand that when this happens it is never intentional and I hope that you can see that we are just humans and mistakes can and will be made but everything is fixable here at Dasanni Speaks. 

WHAT IF MY PACKAGE IS DELAYED OR DOESN'T SHOW UP AT ALL?

I will check the status of your order through your tracking number and if it shows that it was delivered to the address provided than you will need to file a claim with your post office. If your shipment is lost in transit then I will file a claim with USPS and do my best to get it resolved. You need to email Customer Care at customercare@dasannispeaks.com with your name, order number and the reason your are emailing. In the subject line please put LOST PACKAGE. If you have not received your original package after 30 business days I will replace your package with a new one but you will be responsible for shipping. 

WHAT IF MY PACKAGE GETS RETURNED BACK TO YOU?

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGES RETURNED BACK TO SENDER which means A REFUND WILL NOT BE GIVEN.

If your tracking number shows that your package has been delivered back to my PO BOX you are responsible for letting us know that it has been returned by sending an email to customer with the heading, RETURNED PACKAGE, and you will receive an email within 2 to 3 business days that will include the price for First Class USPS Shipping as well as the price for Priority Shipping and you will let Customer Care know which option would like to go with and at this time you will also be able to change the original address on file. Once you let Customer Care know you will get an invoice and as soon as that is paid your new order will go out within 3 to 5 business days, you do not have to wait the whole processing time again.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS/EXCHANGES?

All rings are made to order per your ring size unless they are adjustable and that will specified under the listing. So all rings are non refundable so please make sure you have your correct ring size at checkout. If you don't know your ring size you can go to any jewelry store and they can size your finger for you or you can use this guide. FINDING MY RING SIZE AT HOME

Due to the nature of body jewelry and COVID-19 I do not accept returns or exchanges

I guarantee my work so if I made a mistake in size, finish, color, etc or you just don't like the piece then I am more than happy to fix it for you. I do ask that you pay shipping when you are sending it back to me and I will pay to ship it back to you.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of the date it is made. I will refund you the same method of payment you used to order within 72 hours of receiving your request to cancel.  No exceptions.

In order to cancel please email our Customer Care Team at customercare@dasannispeaks.com with the heading as CANCELLATION REQUEST FOR (insert your order #). In the body of the email please put your name, order number and reason for cancellation. 

If you do not use these steps to cancel your order your order will be processed as normal and your order will be shipped. 

Any other form of request for an order cancellation WILL NOT BE USED.

IS YOUR JEWELRY HYPOALLERGENIC?

All the jewelry that is on the Dasanni Speaks website is Hypoallergenic. I have very sensitive skin and so I make sure that I am able to wear the same materials that I send out. I spend COUNTLESS hours researching safe metals as well as building trusted relationships with suppliers to ensure you will always receive high quality material. IF you have questions about what may be safe for sensitive skin or just want to be sure please email the Customer Care Team at customercare@dasannispeaks.com and they will let me know and I will get a hold of you directly to discuss some options. 

WHAT TYPE OF MATERIAL DO YOU USE IN YOUR JEWELRY?

All pieces are made with tarnish free copper. All NICKEL FREE.

I offer 14kt Gold Filled, Sterling Silver and Surgical Steel. Please allow 2 more weeks for shipping due to those particular metals being more expensive than the copper and I only keep so much on hand since customers normally custom order that type of material to be used for their piece.

I also offer hemp and leather cords for necklaces. If you would like a necklace of different material for instance a filled gold or sterling silver I can purchase it and add it to the total of the final cost. 

For beds I use glass beads, hematite, lava and Swarovski Crystals as well as some natural stones. 

IS COPPER JEWELRY SAFE?

Copper is a safe metal that some people were for health benefits but with time the copper will oxidize and will turn your skin a greenish brown color that does not harm people. In order for to stop the oxidation process I coat all my pieces with a protective coating that is safe for human contact. So all my jewelry pieces are tarnish free but if you would like to receive a piece without protective coating please specify that in an email. 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?

If your jewelry pieces are coated with the clear protective coating then treat it like you would any other fine jewelry. Take it off before you get in the shower, workout, etc. You want to take your jewelry off when you are using hand sanitizer as well as the sanitizer might affect the finish of the piece. With proper care you will enjoy your pieces for years.

With jewelry pieces that a customer has opted out of treating you can regularly wash it with soap and water and then dry and polish with a soft cloth. You can also submerge it in vinegar with salt water and let it emerge for 15 minutes. Rinse it off and then dry with a soft cloth and your piece will look brand new!

HOW DO I CONTACT YOU (AS IN ASPEN THE OWNER AND SOLE ARTISAN)?

You can contact the Customer Care Team and they can get you in contact with me. I am very active on social media but in order to create and continue to ENJOY doing it I have people in place to help you with questions to your answers or address your needs that will take care of your needs. If customer care feels the need or you feel you need to speak to me directly they will definitely let me know and I will reach out personally but please give me at least 4 business days. I appreciate you understanding me having to set boundaries so I can continue to create your pieces with love and intention. 

OTHER INFORMATION:

I am not responsible for any injuries that may occur while wearing a nose chain. I suggest if you aren't used to wearing one to purchase a cuff to go with it before you add it to a pierced hoop earring because you are able to hurt yourself if it were to get tugged on.

My jewelry is not intended for children under the age of 6 because I use small beads that are choking hazards for young children should they come of the jewelry. 

We are not responsible for damages caused by misuse or wear.
